Poverty in India

Hello everyone

I am Diksha
I am expressing my views on Poverty.

Poverty is the scarcity or the lack of the certain amount of material possessions or money. Poverty may include social, economic and political elements. Absolute poverty is the lack of the means necessary to meet basic personal needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

Poverty reduction is still a major issue for many international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank. Various poverty reduction strategies can be adopted to reduce poverty such as creating jobs, raising the minimum wage, increased the earned income tax credit for childless workers, support pay equity, do not harm, etc.

There is nothing inevitable about poverty. We just need to build the political to enact the policies that will increase economic security, expand opportunities, and grow the middle class.

Diksha
